Abstract
The essay explores the role of truth and knowledge in the trial, comparing the investigative method with legal judgment. Through the thought of Plato and the philosophy of law, it highlights the limitations of rhetorical persuasion compared to knowledge based on evidence. The trial should not rely solely on correct outcomes but also on fair procedures. The distinction between investigation and accusation is analyzed in light of epistemology and logic. Finally, the text emphasizes the value of rational argumentation in ensuring fair and just decisions.
