Abstract

The paper deals with scientific education of Franca de Marini Avonzo when, in the 50s, she met Riccardo Orestano in the Faculty of Law of Genoa, becoming his pupil. It was the period (until 1960) in which Orestano investigated the conception of the historical study of law. The purpose of this work is to examine the influences of the mentor on his student, without neglecting the scientific relationship between de Marini and Raggi, another pupil of Orestano in that decade.
